School Festival

The Hisho School Festival is the biggest among all the school events.
The festival was held for 2 days, on October 27th and 29th this year.

The day before,
a rainbow appeared
as if it celebrating
our festival.

First Day

In the afternoon of the 27th, a sports meet for the students and staff was held.
We planned to play softball and tennis outside,
and badminton, table tennis, volleyball and basketball in the gym.
However, to our great regret, it rained, so we played only indoor sports.

At the opening,

the vice president of this school and the chairperson of the student school-festival committee made their opening speeches.

We had many close games!

Teachers did their best, too!

Mr. Yoshida's team won the
badminton championship!

On the 28th,
we prepared for the next day.

Second Day

On the 29th, the festival was opened to the public.
The biggest attraction was
"A Haunted House in the combination of Japanese and European styles"
which was built on the second floor.
This was planned by the student school-festival committee.
The visitors enjoyed the fearful atmosphere and screamed out. It was a great hit.

For the first time on this occasion, we collaborated with Tohoku University of
Community Service and Science. We made a dance team together and gave a "Para-Para"
dance performance at both schools. In addition, we each pasted a collection of
pictures onto the one collage.

Each year of each course had its own exhibit and fast food stall for visitors. In our
course, the second years exhibited the photographs of our study trip to China, sold
boiled potatoes with butter and frankfurter sausages. The first years exhibited the
photographs of their study trip to British Hills in Fukushima. They also had a stall
for accessories, phone straps and import goods.
